Within 43 Days, Coalition Committed 4,268 Violations of UN Truce: Sana’a

The Saudi-led coalition forces have continued to violate the UN-sponsored humanitarian and military truce in Yemen, with 4,268 times for the past 43 days.

A military source in Sana’a government said that the coalition forces’ violations during the past 24 hours amounted to 98, of which two raids by reconnaissance drones on citizens’ homes and on army and popular forces’ sites of Al-Fakher and Al-Batha districts in Dhalea province.

The source indicated that the violations included 35 flights of armed and spying reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada and Dhalea.

Additionally, 24 violations were carried out with the coalition’s artillery shelling on the positions of the army and popular forces, in Mala’a, al-Kasara, al-Balaq al-Sharqi, Rawdha Jahana, al-Dushush, Serwah of Marib, Homra area of Taiz, and the areas of Bani Hassan, al-Mazraq of Hajjah, as well as the areas of al-Madafan and al-Malahiz of Saada.

The source confirmed that 37 violations were recorded by shooting at the homes of citizens and the positions of the army in the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah and Saada.
