Violent clashes erupted on Monday between “Al Shabwan tribes” and Saudi-led coalition forces recruits from “Al Hassan” tribes in Abidah valley southeast of Marib city, tribal sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The clashes broke out against the background of the killing of a recruit in Al Shabwan area at the hands of Al-Qaeda organization members.
The sources pointed out that the tribes were able to cut the main lines between Abidah valley and the city of Marib, and the international line linking the city and Al-Abr area and the border crossing in Al-Wadeah.
The clashes resulted in deaths and injuries on both sides, the sources added.
