On 6th Flight, 229 Passengers Arrive Sana’a International Airport from Amman

The sixth civil commercial flight from Jordan’s Queen Alia Airport, carrying 229 passengers, arrived at Sana’a International Airport on Tuesday.

The Yemeni aircraft, the Airbus A330, received all the air and ground navigation services applicable at international airports in accordance with international Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requirements and conditions.

A number of arrivals from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan praised the level of services and procedures taken at Sana’a Airport in providing services in a professional and technical manner.

They expressed the hope that the airport would continue to be opened unconditionally in the interest of Yemeni people in general and the sick in particular.

The sixth commercial flight took off from Sana’a International Airport on Tuesday heading to Queen Alia Airport in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with 274 passengers on board.

The flight is the sixth out of 16 included in the 2-month humanitarian truce announced by the United Nations in early April, pending the launch of more flights so that many patients can travel for treatment abroad.

The travelers affirmed the need to double commercial and civil flights, praising the services provided to travelers and the high-end technical and professional dealings by workers at Sana’a Airport.
