Exclusive-Alkhabar alyemeni:

Hundreds of angry people cut off main streets at the power outage in Al-Shihr district. Local sources reported that protesters burned damaged tires, what caused obstruction to traffic along the main lines.

Al-Shihr is the second district of Hadhramaut after Mukalla to rise up against the deterioration of services and the rise in fuel prices. It is expected that the protests will extend to the districts of Al-Ghail, especially after the most prominent leaders of the second Hadrami donation, Saleh Al-Marri, threatened to invade Masilah fields and close them to export from Al-Dhabah port.

Al-Marri said in a statement to hundreds of his supporters that the situation is no longer bearable.

The statements of Al-Marri, who had disappeared from the scene after his arrest by the governor of the Emirates in Hadramout, were criticized, most notably by STC supporters who accused him of arranging again to overthrow Faraj al-Bahsani.

Hadhramaut is one of the Yemeni provinces under the authority of the coalition that suffers from power outages; it extends for more than 12 hours a day. In addition to the high fuel prices, as the cost of a 20-liter gallon reaches 25,000 riyals, not to mention the collapse of the rest of the services.
