The International Organization for Migration (IOM) on Saturday revealed the crimes of killing migrants at the hands of the Saudi border guards, north of Yemeni Saada province.
In a brief report, on the Twitter platform, the organization said that it had verified nine separate incidents led to the killing of 189 migrants and the serious injury of 535 others at the Yemeni-Saudi border with the northern Yemeni province of Saada.
The organization suggested that the number of migrants’ victims as a result of Saudi forces’ targeting of migrants with artillery shells and machine guns live bullets is much more than that statistic.
The IOM indicated that 7,000 Yemeni families, representing 43,000 individuals, have been displaced since the beginning of this year.
