STC Begins Arrangements to Expel “Al-Alimi” from Aden

The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) supporters on Sunday began arrangements to expel Rashad al-Alimi, President of the Riyadh-formed “Presidential Council”, from the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

This comes a day after Al-Alimi arrived in the city after months of living abroad.

Activists on social media called on the STC militia to protect a demonstration that is being prepared at Ma’ashiq Palace, while others called on the Attorney General, who is affiliated with the STC, to open an urgent investigation with Al-Alimi and his prime minister, Moein Abdulmalik, regarding the recent corruption scandals.
