UAE Looting Mineral Resources from Socotra

The Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Board in Sana’a condemned looting of mineral resources by the Saudi coalition in the Yemeni islands and Southern provinces.

In a statement, the board affirmed its rejection of all forms of looting and violations committed by the countries of Saudi-led coalition, affirming the right of the Republic of Yemen and its board position to defend its lands in full.

The statement also confirmed that the UAE regime commits repeated and continuous violations that are outside international laws and norms, stressing that international organizations must stand with one voice to denounce these violations and call for an end to the illegal exploitation of mineral resources in the “occupied Yemeni islands and provinces”.
