Important comment by the Rescue Government regarding the Safer tanker

In the most recent hours, the National Rescue Government in Sana’a made a significant comment regarding the dilapidated Safer tanker in the Red Sea.

This is in reaction to claims by officials loyal to the coalition government that a new ship had arrived to replace the dilapidated first one.

The Sana’a government’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Hussein Al-Azzi, said that these officials “are lying about what they do not know” and confirmed that “the new Safer tanker has not yet arrived.”

He added, “The pumping and unloading operation has not yet started,” and “God willing, the government of Sana’a will announce the start of the operation as soon as the formalities are finished and at the appropriate time.”
