Saudi Arabia banned on Sunday, any of Islah and transitional council activity within the military factions loyal to the coalition in Al-Mahrah, eastern of Yemen.

The Saudi channel Al-Hadath quoted on the commander of the second military region, Fayez al-Tamimi, as stressing the need to distance the military establishment from partisanship and racism.
Al-Tamimi, who leads the second military division from Mukalla in Hadramout, was inspecting military units loyal to the coalition in Al-Mahrah, which Saudi Arabia seeks to keep under its control as part of what is known as the “Hadramout region”.
Al-Tamimi’s speech, which is the first of its kind, came after a meeting he had with the commander of the Saudi coalition in Al-Ghaidhah.
The meeting discussed the status of the military factions in the province overlooking the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean.
Military sources reported that the meeting focused on neutralizing the factions affiliated with the Transitional Council, most notably the Task Force, by transferring its financial allocations to factions more loyal to Saudi Arabia, such as the military police.
Withdrawing the budget allocations of the Transitional Council factions would force them to disintegrate voluntarily.
The plan to neutralize Transitional Council from Al-Mahrah is part of a Saudi strategy that recently began in Hadramout by forming alternative entities for it, through which Riyadh aims to reduce the influence of Yemeni forces linked to regional parties, most notably to UAE.
