What are the possible objectives of the Sana’a forces in the Yemeni islands

The President of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, Mahdi Al-Mashat, announced that his forces intend to conduct missile tests towards some Yemeni islands, noting that the alliance is overbearing and arrogant and understands only the language of force.

Exclusive – Al-khabar Al-Yemeni:

Al-Mashat affirmed that Sana’a would exert every effort to deter the coalition.

Al-Mashat’s statement that the Yemeni islands will be the target of Sana’a’s missile tests does not imply that the geography of the coalition countries will be immune from missile strikes, but rather that Sana’a will use these islands as a target in order to assert its sovereignty over them and confront the coalition’s activities, which believed they could unwind on these islands and be immune from Sana’a’s operations.

The question at hand is whether or not the camps and bases of the coalition will be the targets of any missile testing conducted on these islands.

It is certain that they will target the coalition’s camps and headquarters rather than hypothetical targets, and Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, confirmed that it is unacceptable to allow American and British control and their tools of the Yemeni islands or the looting of their resources. He also said that the appropriate military action would be taken to thwart any attempt to loot Yemen’s resources on land and at sea.

Several Yemeni islands are under the control of the coalition, including Socotra Island, which is the most remote and is likely to be at the top of the list of targets because it is home to Israeli and Emirati military bases, as well as the islands of Mioon, Hunnish, and Zaqar, where the UAE has established a military base and there is a presence of American and possibly Israeli forces.

The islands of Baklan and Al-Dweima, which are in the Red Sea and are close to the Midi District, where Saudi forces are stationed, may be potential targets, but Sana’a does not require long-range missiles to reach them.
