Sana’a’s Foreign Ministry warns that it will resort to other options if the coalition continues to delay peace efforts

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Sana’a, Hussein Al-Azzi, confirmed that Sana’a’s patience and high level of self-control reflect a high methodology within the leadership in delaying the option of war until the very last moment, indicating that its patience is running out and the military option is getting closer to resolving the battle with the coalition and its factions.

Sana’a – Al-khabar Al-Yemeni:

Al-Azzi considered in statements to the “Al-Masirah” channel that talking about peace while adhering to the siege is provocative and throws ashes in the eyes, pointing out that rebuilding trust can only be achieved by achieving a breakthrough in the humanitarian file, while the coalition has not gone beyond talking about peace in Yemen.

He noted that the coalition’s current peace references are for surrender, not peace initiatives, calling the reduction of additional flights to the only destination from Sanaa airport a “disgusting” action that reflects the coalition’s lack of desire for peace and trust-building. He also emphasized that the current stage requires the establishment of new references.

In reference to the military option to resolve the battle, the Deputy confirmed that “if procrastination continues, they will force us to resort to other options,” particularly given the protracted period of neither peace nor war and the coalition’s refusal to pay the salaries of all state employees from oil and gas revenues.
