According to a report from the “Department of Moral Guidance” in Sana’a, 220 crimes and armed breaches took place in the areas controlled by the coalition and its factions over the past July. There were 146 individuals killed and injured as a result. The offenses ranged from murder to kidnapping to cutting off roads, torture to death, looting, and assassination operations.

In a new report, the “Information Center at the Department of Moral Guidance” further clarified that a total of 1,295 offenses were reported in July only according to official reports released by the Ma’een government that is loyal to the alliance. Among them, 1,205 were classified as criminal offenses, at a rate of 40 crimes per day, while non-criminal offenses did not exceed 90 crimes.
With approximately 38 dead and wounded within 34 violations, including 14 attacks and armed clashes in cities and residential areas, the detonation of two explosive devices, two kidnapping and killing crimes, a kidnapping and concealment crime, as well as murders and retaliation crimes brought on by the lack of justice, Shabwa topped the list of provinces with the highest number of casualties and injuries.
In the Bayhan area of the same province, a man also killed his sister and her daughter while injuring two other family members who tried to help. The fact that four people, including a lady from the same family, were slain in a shootout inside their home in the Sadr Baras neighborhood of the Al Saied district is additional evidence of reflection of the state of chaos in the province at the level of family relations.
The report also detailed 32 violations that resulted in 34 dead and wounded in Abyan province, including 12 armed clashes and attacks, the explosion of five explosive devices scattered throughout, and two citizens being tortured to death, one of whom had a psychological disorder; the other was from Ibb province and was kidnapped while traveling to Abyan, after which he was hidden and tortured to death. There were four murders reported, one of which involved the killing of a child. There were also three arbitrary arrests, a kidnapping and forced concealment crime, and burglary and looting offenses.
According to the report, approximately 23 people were killed and injured in 51 violations in the province of Aden, the most prominent of which were 10 armed clashes between military factions affiliated with the aggression, as well as two run-over operations committed by military personnel, in addition to the crime of kidnapping and murder, three kidnapping and forced concealment crimes, one rape crime, and various other crimes such as raids, shootings at two houses and a shop, and the burning of a Qat market.
The report also stated that in the coalition areas of Taiz province, 16 civilians were killed and injured, and there have been 38 recorded cases of attempted murder, 13 deliberate explosions, three crimes of kidnapping, and several crimes of looting by force. Furthermore, there were six suicide cases, which is remarkable compared to the short period in which they occurred. The number of serious criminal offenses in the province reached approximately 79, in addition to dozens of other crimes, including forced recruitment.
In Lahj province, the report indicated that there were 19 dead and wounded within 12 violations, including throwing a bomb at a women’s wedding, the detonation of two explosive devices, the burning of a shelter housing African migrants, the killing of a woman by a sniper, and armed clashes. In Marib province, nine violations resulted in the deaths and injuries of 14 citizens.
The monthly report by the Information Center highlighted a murder crime in Dhalea province and an extrajudicial execution of an African immigrant, as well as two bombings targeting vehicles belonging to coalition faction officials during the internal conflict operations.
The victims of violations in the occupied areas were the subject of statistics gathered in May, June, and July, according to the Information Center in the Moral Guidance Department in Sana’a. This data emphasizes the degree of security and social breakdown in these areas. 121 people were killed and wounded in riots in May, while 157 people were killed and wounded in June. There were 146 reported dead and wounded in July, bringing the total to 424 at a pace of 5 dead and wounded per day.
