Footage showing the operation of downing an American MQ9 aircraft by the air defenses while it was conducting hostile actions in the airspace of Yemeni territorial waters was broadcast by the Yemeni “war media” affiliated with the Sana’a forces today.

The published footage showed the moments of tracking, monitoring, and documenting the downing of the American aircraft in a military operation announced earlier on Wednesday evening by Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Sana’a forces.
Brigadier General Saree’s stated that the “American MQ9 aircraft was shot down while “conducting hostile acts of surveillance and reconnaissance in the airspace of the territorial waters of Yemen and as part of US military support for the Israeli entity.”
“With the appropriate weapons,” the American aircraft was shot down, according to a spokesman for the Sana’a forces, reaffirming their right to “defend the country and confront all hostile threats.”
He renewed his confirmation that Sana’a forces will continue military operations against the Israeli entity “in support and solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.”
Sana’a forces have previously carried out several air strikes with drones and ballistic and winged missiles targeting deep within the Israeli occupation entity, as part of Sanaa’s support for Palestinian factions.
