The occupation army stated in a statement: “Yesterday, in the battle in the northern Gaza Strip, Cpt. Omri Yosef David (27 years old) from Carmiel, a deputy company commander in the Negev Brigade’s 9217 Battalion, Brigade 12 (Negev Brigade), fell.”
The statement also mentioned: “Cap. Yedidya Asher Lev (26 years old) from Tel Menashe, deputy company commander in the Shaked Battalion, Givati Brigade, also fell.”
The statement added: “Notifications have been delivered to their families. In addition, four fighters were seriously injured during the fighting on the strip. They were evacuated for medical treatment, and notifications were delivered to their families.”
The Israeli forces penetrating the Gaza Strip are facing fierce resistance from Palestinian resistance factions, especially on the advance lines north of the Strip and in Gaza City.
