The US confirms the second Israeli ship targeted off Yemen

The US confirmed on Saturday that a second Israeli ship was targeted off the coast of Yemen.

The Associated Press quoted a US defense official as saying that a cargo ship belonging to an Israeli billionaire was targeted by a drone between the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea.

The source confirmed that the ship suffered significant damage.

Earlier today, the Al-Mayadeen channel reported that an Israeli cargo ship was attacked in the Arabian Sea, causing it to catch fire.

The party responsible for targeting the ship, which is the second to be attacked off Yemen, has not been identified yet. Previously, Sana’a had threatened to pursue Israeli ships in any area and had announced the detention of the Israeli ship Galaxy Leader while sailing off the western coast of Yemen.
