France confirmed on Tuesday that one of its battleships was targeted in a new attack in Yemen.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The French Ministry of the Armed Forces stated in a statement that a frigate accompanying the Norwegian cargo ship “Estrinda” was attacked by a drone ship.
Earlier, Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance Department, Brigadier General Abdullah Bin Amer, reported the interception of an Israeli military ship and its prevention from returning to its base in Djibouti.
The attack on the French frigate is the second within a week, as the French Joint Chiefs of Staff had previously announced that another frigate was attacked by two aircraft in the southern Red Sea.
The French ship is just one of many battleships that have made an effort in the last few weeks to break Sana’a’s blockade of Israel. It has been targeted, along with a Japanese battleship and the US battleships USS Mason and USS Carney.
In an effort to intercept Israeli cargo ships traveling through Yemeni waters, Sana’a has warned foreign battleships operating in the Red Sea of the repercussions of breaking international law. In solidarity with Gaza, Sana’a has announced an end to all of its activities.
