Abdul-Salam: Any direct operations against Yemen we will make it a regional and international war whose effects they do not expect

Mohammed Abdul-Salam, the head of the Sana’a delegation in the political negotiations, confirmed that the alliance announced by the Americans from “Tel Aviv” will not affect our operations in the Red Sea, indicating that its purpose is to protect Israel. He further stated that our operations will continue and become at a higher pace using all possible means if aid does not reach Gaza and the aggression and blockade against it do not cease.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Abdul-Salam mentioned in a statement to Al-Jazeera that since the first day of our operations in the Red Sea, French, American, and British frigates have been present, attempting to down our aircraft and missiles, stressing that any direct operations against Yemen will expand the battle and turn it into a regional and international war with catastrophic consequences.

Considering that ships pass through the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait on a daily basis without being targeted and that our operations only target ships heading to the enemy entity and associated with it, he concluded that “stopping navigation in the Arabian and Red Seas completely is an American and Western pressure attempt to participate in the alliance to protect Israel.”

The head of the Sana’a delegation commended the countries overlooking the Red Sea, saying that “its stance is good, and we hope they will continue in its stance, and we will not stop our operations.” He added that the blame and pressure should be directed towards America and Israel to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip, which is a humanitarian demand supported by most countries in the world.

Abdul-Salam reaffirmed Sana’a’s stance, saying that “ships that are wholly or partially owned by the enemy entity will continue to be targeted until the end of the aggression, along with missile force and drone operations.” Sana’a will not permit any shipping company to pass through the Red Sea to the enemy entity while the Gaza Strip is under siege.

He stated that naval operations “will continue in full swing and perhaps not pass 12 hours without an operation against enemy ships,” and that Sana’a is in communication “with the Palestinian brothers and includes them in the context of its discussions with other countries.”

He added in his interview with the Al-Masirah channel, “Yemen bears the moral burden based on humanitarian, religious, and principled grounds, and we are aware of the consequences of our actions in supporting our oppressed Palestinian brothers.”

Abdul-Salam affirmed that maritime operations are precise with a success rate of 95%, and so far, no targeted ship has denied its relationship with the enemy entity, and we provide our evidence,” noting that “the Israelis resort to deception and attempt to go to other ports and work through other companies, but our forces are working to expose these tricks.

Yesterday, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced the formation of a maritime alliance to protect Israeli ships in the Red and Arabian Seas from attacks carried out by the Sana’a Navy in support of Gaza.
