Sana’a: The alliance formed by the America to protect Israel will not deter us from supporting Gaza

Yemen’s maritime operations aim to support the Palestinian people in their confrontation against aggression and the blockade on Gaza and are not a show of force or a challenge to anyone, according to Mohammed Abdul-Salam, the head of the national negotiating delegation affiliated with Sana’a.

Abdul-Salam added in a recent tweet on his official account on the (X) platform, “Whoever seeks to expand the conflict must bear the consequences of its actions.”

The head of the national delegation stated that “the American-formed alliance is for the protection of Israel and militarizes the sea without any justification and will not stop Yemen from continuing its legitimate operations in support of Gaza.”

He further explained, “Just as America allowed itself to support Israel with or without an alliance, the peoples of the region have full legitimacy to support the Palestinian people,” stressing that Yemen has taken it upon itself to stand alongside the Palestinian cause and Gaza’s great injustice.

Meanwhile, the British news agency “Reuters” quoted a senior official in the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement as an important comment regarding the US’ announcement of forming a military alliance to protect Israeli ships in the Red Sea.

According to the agency, the unnamed leader confirmed that “Sana’a’s position towards the Palestinian issue will not change regardless of the formation of a maritime alliance.”

In turn, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the political bureau in Sana’a, revealed that Sana’a rejected an American request to open channels of communication, stressing that this matter does not honor.

Al-Houthi posted a tweet on his official account on the platform (X), saying, “America has repeatedly sought direct communication with the Yemeni Republic in Sana’a, but this was rejected.”

The prominent leader of the Ansar Allah movement added, “We are not honored to communicate directly with the killer of the children of Yemen and Gaza.”

All of this comes in conjunction with the US’ announcement of a maritime military alliance to protect Israeli ships in the Red Sea from attacks by Sana’a forces.
