Mystery surrounds the fate of the Israeli cargo ship detained in the Bab Al-Mandeb

The fate of a cargo ship that came under attack in the Bab Al-Mandeb remains shrouded in mystery, as reported earlier on Saturday.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The British Maritime Trade Organization did not provide any details about the vessel, which was earlier claimed to have been boarded by armed individuals on six boats near Mokha, west of Yemen.

Sana’a has not officially claimed responsibility for the operation or clarified its status. However, media outlets affiliated with the Saudi-Emirati coalition circulated videos showing armed individuals claiming to be “Houthis” boarding the ship, which was heading towards Israel.

It is still unclear whether the ship is still detained or if it has been allowed to pass. Additionally, it has not been confirmed whether the Yemeni Navy intercepted the ship or if another party was involved.

The Red Sea is witnessing intense activity from various parties, notably America, which has begun conducting patrols in civilian attire in the Red Sea, seeking to militarize the region and exert more force to support its alliance in protecting Israel. Furthermore, factions loyal to the Saudi-Emirati coalition are conducting similar patrols.
