An Australian company voluntarily changes the course of its ships away from the Red Sea

Amid concerns of expanding Yemeni maritime operations, a major Australian mining company announced on Thursday its decision to voluntarily change the course of their ships away from the Red Sea.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The “BHP” company, a mining giant, confirmed through sources reported by the “Middle East” newspaper that it is redirecting all its shipments from Asia to Europe away from the Red Sea.

The company did not specify the reasons behind this decision, although Yemen reiterated, through multiple officials, that Yemeni operations are limited to ships associated with Israel.

Experts speculate that the decision reflects the company’s concerns about the expansion of Sana’a’s operations against companies whose countries were involved in the recent aggression against Yemen.

Although Australia has not officially announced its participation, its name has been mentioned in several American statements during the raids and missile bombardment on Yemen since the 11th of this month.
