South Africa expects an ICJ judgment on Gaza Today

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has confirmed it will hand down judgment on provisional measures sought in South Africa’s genocide case against Israel today, South African news website News24 reported, citing two sources close to the matter.

“A public sitting will take place at 13:00 (14:00 in South Africa) at the Peace Palace in The Hague, during which Judge Joan E. Donoghue, the President of the Court, will read the Court’s Order,” the ICJ said.

Israel Channel 13 also stated that there are “reports” indicating that the ICJ will announce its decision on South Africa’s lawsuit today, Friday.

The South African news site mentioned that a government delegation arrived in The Hague in anticipation of the judgment.

Earlier this month, South Africa requested the International Court of Justice issue an urgent order halting the destructive Zionist-American aggression on Gaza, accusing “Israel” of committing genocide.
