Sana’a Communications calls on cable ships to obtain prior permits to enter Yemeni waters

On Monday, the Ministry of Communications in the Sana’a government warned against submarine cable ships entering the territorial waters without coordination with Yemeni forces.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Minister of Communications, Musfer Al-Nimir, stated, “We have previously emphasized that submarine cable ships must obtain permits from the Maritime Affairs in Sana’a before entering Yemeni territorial waters.”

The Ministry of Communications confirmed its readiness to meet the requests for permits and provide information about the ships to the Yemeni naval forces in order to ensure their safety.
