UNICEF: aggression on Gaza caused the death of more than 13,000 children

The executive director of  United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Catherine Russell, said the scale and pace of destruction in Gaza Strip was “shocking.”

Russell confirmed on Platform X that “Gaza war has killed more than 13,000 children and injured countless people.”

The UN official called for a ceasefire in Gaza now and said that “homes, schools and hospitals are destroyed,” warning that “famine in Gaza is imminent.”

The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on Gaza Strip where the martyr’s numbers raised to 33,137 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and more than 75,815 others were injured, in an indefinite toll.
