UNRWA: Child killed in Gaza every 10 minutes

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said Saturday that a child is killed in Gaza Strip every 10 minutes as a result of Israel’s more than six-month war.

The agency added in a tweet on “X” platform that a large number of Gazan children were injured in intensive and indiscriminate Israeli attacks. The UN agency stressed that an immediate ceasefire in Gaza is the last remaining hope.

The latest toll published by the Government Information Office in Gaza said that the Israeli aggression has so far resulted in the death of 14,685 children, noting that children constitute 72% of the number of martyrs, which exceeded 34,000.
