British confirmation of the Houthi encirclement of the Indian Ocean

On Saturday, Britain confirmed the success of what it described as the “Houthis” in imposing a new reality in the Indian Ocean.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

CNN quoted Howard Wildon, an officer in the British Navy and one of the prominent British experts, talking about what he described as “bad news” coming from the Indian Ocean, stating, “The Houthis have done something there.”

On the other hand, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar confirmed that Yemen has effectively imposed new rules of engagement in the Indian Ocean while effectively encircling it.

The newspaper quoted Yemeni military officials as saying that Socotra Island has come under the fiery control of Yemeni forces.

In recent days, Yemeni forces have carried out several operations, some of which were revealed. The operations that targeted Israeli and American ships came a few days after Sana’a announced the expansion of the maritime blockade against Israeli navigation to the Indian Ocean, following its successful implementation in the Red and Arabian Seas and the Gulf of Aden.
