The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has renewed its call for an immediate cessation of child killing in Palestine and an immediate ceasefire in Gaza Strip.
UNICEF Regional Director Adele Khader said in a statement today: “In the past 72 hours, Israel has killed three children in the West Bank city of Tulkarm and at least 14 others in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.”
“Children in Palestine have been caught in a tragic and vicious circle of violence for far too long,” Khader said, warning that “Gaza war disproportionately affects children.”
