In light of the failure to deploy another and the refusal of its allies to host it… American research for the phase after expelling its fleets from Yemen

The US has embarked on a new research journey on Sunday to regain its influence in the region, following Yemen’s success in expelling its naval fleets from the most important shipping lanes.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

New intelligence reports indicate American efforts to establish a military base in the areas controlled by Somali separatists in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean.

Sources have indicated that this American move came based on an Emirati proposal, noting that it aims to confront what it described as the Houthis’ naval attacks.

It also reported that the US is attempting to maintain a presence near the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait by establishing a base on Somali territory.

These American movements come in the wake of significant developments in the region, most notably Yemen forcing the American Defense to withdraw the “Eisenhower” aircraft carrier fleet through multiple attacks, in addition to American reports about American hesitation about the possibility of deploying another aircraft carrier in the Red Sea, as Washington has labeled the currently deployed “Roosevelt” in the Pacific Ocean.

These moves also come amidst Washington’s regional allies, such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE, refusing to allow the use of their territories as launching pads for American attacks, fearing a Yemeni backlash in light of Yemeni threats to bomb those countries if they allow US forces to use their territories as a launching pad for aggression against Yemen.

US forces suffer from Eisenhower’s tow from the Red Sea.

Recently, it failed to secure the passage of a new ship through the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, as the Yemeni forces conducted a wide-scale attack against the remaining American forces and their allies in the Red Sea, preventing the passage of the ship, which was damaged in the clashes, according to a spokesman for the Yemeni forces.

By prompting Washington to establish a base on Somali territory, the UAE seeks to reduce growing fears as Yemen escalates its operations in the Arab Sea and the Indian Ocean, reaching close proximity to the UAE ports that are currently used as a transit station for transporting goods to the Israeli occupation in light of the Yemeni blockade in the Red Sea.
