A new attack targeting a tanker in the Red Sea is revealed

“Tradewinds,” specializing in maritime shipping, revealed on Tuesday that a tanker was targeted and damaged in the Red Sea as a result of the attack.

The website reported that the tanker “Chios Lion” suffered damage after being targeted by a drone boat in the Red Sea. It appears that this operation was carried out by Yemeni forces as part of their escalating operations in support of Gaza. However, Sana’a has not yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

For nearly nine months, Yemeni forces have imposed a ban on Israeli navigation and completely prohibited any maritime company from dealing with the ports of the Israeli entity. They consistently affirm that they will not lift the ban until the aggression and blockade on the Gaza Strip cease.
