Al-Azzi: Continuing to seize Yemen’s funds abroad is “Disgusting Corruption” and must be recovered

Hussein Al-Azzi, Deputy Foreign Minister in the Sana’a government, affirmed on Monday that they “will work diligently to recover the looted funds abroad,” considering it “an inevitable matter and a right among the country’s rights.”

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Al-Azzi stated in a post on the “X” platform that “continuing to seize our public funds and deposit them in foreign banks is disgusting corruption and excessive selfishness.”

The Yemeni funds being referred to by Al-Azzi are “oil and gas revenues held by the Saudi National Bank, in addition to funds of former Saleh officials held in European banks.”
