The Zionist authorities are detaining the bodies of 552 Palestinian martyrs, including 256 in Al-Arqam cemeteries, the Palestinian national campaign for the recovery of the bodies of martyrs said on Tuesday.
Among the bodies detained are “nine women, 32 prisoners, 55 children, five martyrs from the territories of 48, and six martyrs from Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, the Palestinian prisoner’s club, the prisoners and liberators Affairs Authority, the Conscience Foundation for Human Rights, and the Palestinian national campaign said in a joint statement, on the occasion of the national day for the recovery of bodies.
The number of martyrs detained from Gaza by the enemy is estimated at hundreds, but there is no official statement from the occupier about the real numbers of the bodies of martyrs from Gaza until today, the statement added.
It is noteworthy Palestinians are buried in simple grave surrounded by stones without headstones, and a metal plate with a number is installed above each grave, and each number has a special file kept by the authorities of the Zionist enemy.
