Palestinian medical sources said the Israeli army killed at least 14 Palestinians in an airstrike on a school housing displaced people in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Mahmoud Basal, spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, said, “14 martyrs were killed and there are a large number of wounded in the Israeli shelling on the Jaouni school” in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
It had earlier reported that the dead included “women and children”. A medical source at Al-Awda Hospital reported that 35 wounded people arrived at the hospital as a result of targeting Al-Jaouni School.
The agency noted that it was unable to independently verify the number announced by the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip.
