Five Palestinians killed in Israeli shelling in West Bank

The Palestinian Red Crescent said Wednesday that five Palestinians were killed in Israeli shelling in the West Bank city of Tubas.

This comes at a time of continuing tensions between Israel and the international community, following two separate incidents, in Gaza and the West Bank, that have drawn widespread condemnation.

Israeli forces detained a UN convoy before releasing it in Gaza. In the West Bank, an American woman was shot dead by the Israeli army while taking part in a protest.
