Activists shared videos showing the moments when American planes dropped bombs on the province of Amran, north of the Yemeni capital, Sana’a.
Amin Atef, a notable figure from the Khamer region, confirmed that the bombs were photovoltaic and caused fires in the area.
The motives behind the American targeting of the province of Amran, situated between the provinces of Sanaa and Sa’ada, the stronghold of the Ansar Allah leader, remain unclear, but the timing indicates it is part of American reconnaissance attempts.
Although American planes have been conducting wide-ranging aggression since last January that has targeted most cities in northern Yemen, the recent aggression follows consecutive Yemeni blows to the US, notably the downing of a new aircraft, the tenth above Dhamar, and before that, the launch of a new “hypersonic” missile at the Israeli occupation that all defense systems, including American, failed to intercept.
