American admission of aerial battle loss in Yemen and warning to the Occupation of the consequences of the recent missile

The US admitted on Tuesday to losing the aerial battle in Yemen, following its withdrawal from naval confrontations.

CNN quoted American defense officials confirming the downing of a new drone in Yemen on Monday.

The officials did not specify the location where the drone was shot down.

Earlier, Yemeni forces posted a video of the moment the drone was shot down in Dhamar, in the middle of the country.

This drone marks the tenth since last January and the third within a week.

The American admission coincided with the US defense confirming the recovery of another drone that was shot down last week in Marib, under the control of factions loyal to the coalition in northern Yemen.

The successive American admissions of the downing of the latest drones in the world of American armament indicate Washington’s admission of losing the aerial battle in Yemen, a step that may pave the way for halting aerial sorties, especially since the continuous flights of spy planes have come as an alternative to naval battleships that were withdrawn from the Red Sea due to their failure to contain Yemeni operations against the Israeli occupation and their transformation into a burden with their exposure to repeated Yemeni targeting.

The American admission of the downing of another drone coincided with intense discussions with the occupation regarding the post-last Yemen operation phase in the deep of “Tel Aviv.”

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin made a call to his Israeli counterpart, Yoav Galant.

According to Hebrew media, the discussion focused on evaluating the recent Yemeni attack on Tel Aviv and exploring ways to reduce escalation, including avoiding widespread escalation in Lebanon.

The American contact came parallel to the Biden administration sending the US envoy to Tel Aviv with a fresh warning to the occupation about the consequences of any adventure towards Lebanon. According to media sources, Hochstein warned the occupation government that opening the Lebanese front would mean a regional war.
