Under the headline: “Israeli crimes and Western complicity”, the French website Mediapart said that the West’s lack of reaction to Israeli actions and the deaths of tens of thousands of civilians exceed the double standards that have been denounced for months. This is indeed active complicity in war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by a rogue State.
The French investigative news site added that Israel commits, over the course of a year, the equivalent of “the massacre of the seventh of October every week.” However, no Western leader rushed to Ramallah or Beirut to express horror at the massacre. No head of State or Government has assured the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples of their full support in the face of Israeli attacks.
But the fact remains that the Israeli government is responsible, on average, for the deaths of more than 1,200 people every week over the past year, and that Western leaders are responsible for political and military support for this endless, indiscriminate and indiscriminate massacre.
Mediapart described this Israeli-led war as a war of deterrence but also a war of revenge, causing rivers of blood to flow at the hands of Western leaders, led by American leaders.
