The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, confirmed that the destruction in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Zionist war is unprecedented and that the destruction of UNRWA has become one of the goals of the war.
Lazzarini told a press conference in Berlin that international law is applied selectively, especially with what is happening in Gaza, adding that about 70% of the infrastructure in the Gaza Strip has been destroyed, and the situation in Gaza is terrible for professional aid workers and the scale of destruction is unprecedented.
He added that the majority of Gazans are crowded in an area that does not exceed 10 percent of the entire area of the Strip, and about 400,000 people are stranded in the north of the Strip. He stressed that Israel does not allow the international media to go to Gaza, and the information coming from there is limited.
