Occupation raids on different areas of Lebanon

The Lebanese Ministry of Health revealed on Wednesday that the toll of the continuous Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen since the eighth of October 2023, which has risen sharply and witnessed a ground incursion into the south over the past few weeks.

The Ministry of Health said in a statement carried by the official Lebanese News Agency, “During the past 24 hours, 17 martyrs and 182 wounded were recorded, bringing the total number of martyrs since the start of the Israeli aggression to two thousand and 367 martyrs and 11 thousand and 88 wounded.”

It added that the number of victims recorded during the last 24 hours included 3 martyrs and 92 wounded in southern Lebanon, 9 martyrs and 49 wounded in Nabatieh governorate, in addition to 5 martyrs and 26 wounded in Bekaa governorate, and 15 wounded in Baalbek-Hermel governorate.

In this context, the Israeli occupation army continues to launch violent air raids on various areas of Lebanese territory since late September.

According to the official Lebanese News Agency, the Israeli occupation launched sporadic artillery shelling on the town of Aita al-Shaab and the outskirts of the town of Rmeish, in addition to the raid of Israeli warplanes on the towns of Yatar and Sultaniya in the Bint Jbeil district.

Israeli warplanes also launched a raid on the plain of the town of Sareen on the side of Al-Halaniyah, targeting the area between the towns of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, Mifdoon and the town of Marwahin, east of Tyre.

Since September 23, the Israeli occupation has launched violent and unprecedented air strikes on various sites in Lebanon, resulting in thousands of dead and wounded, as well as the displacement of more than 1.2 million, according to official data.
