Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, reported today, Sunday, that the Israeli enemy army in the past hours destroyed residential blocks near Kamal Adwan Hospital and the Al-Yemen Al-Saeed area.
Abu Safiya pointed out that the bombardment and intensive targeting caused significant damage, stating, “Even Kamal Adwan Hospital itself has been damaged, with almost all doors and most windows shattered.”
He explained that the large explosions “have instilled a sense of terror and fear among the patients at Kamal Adwan Hospital, and unfortunately, the situation is still ongoing.”
Abu Safiya noted, “We have not received any medical delegations, and upon inquiry, we learned that the occupation army refused to allow any specialized medical teams to enter northern Gaza.”
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital continued, stating, “The occupation army has also not allowed any ambulances to enter northern Gaza, and this indicates a deliberate escalation concerning the humanitarian situation, which remains critical.”
He added, “We currently have 120 wounded individuals in the hospital, most of whom require urgent surgical procedures, but unfortunately, we can’t provide any assistance to them, and we are in dire need of increasing pressure on the international community to help the health system carry out its duties in accordance with applicable humanitarian laws.”
