Israeli occupation warplanes targeted residential buildings in Haret Hreik in the southern suburb of Beirut on Wednesday evening, Lebanese media said.

Plumes of smoke rose following the violent occupation raids on the southern suburb of Beirut, according to the media.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army threatened on Wednesday to bomb two areas in the southern suburbs of Beirut, coinciding with the speech of the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Naim Qassem.

In an earlier statement, the Israeli army also threatened to bomb several buildings in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon.
