The Israeli occupation revealed on Thursday that it has strengthened its military deployment along the Egyptian and Jordanian coasts in anticipation of a Yemeni attack.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Hebrew news site “Zaman” reported that the passage of the Israeli warship “Eilat” through the Suez Canal coming from the Mediterranean a few days ago aimed at participating in a defensive mission led by the US in the Red Sea.
The site indicated that several occupation battleships are currently deployed at the entrance to the Egyptian Suez Canal, reaching to the Jordanian port of Aqaba, including the Sa’ar “5”, explaining that these battleships, despite potential threats of targeting it with missiles, have been reinforced with special systems to intercept drones.
The most notable systems with which those battleships were equipped, according to the website, are “Barak-1.”
Since November of last year, Yemen has been launching land and sea operations against the Israeli occupation, successfully imposing blockades on its ports in both the Mediterranean and the Red Sea.
The decision of the occupation to deploy new battleships alongside the American battleships stationed in this western region at the southern end of the Red Sea indicates escalating fears of Yemeni operations in the coming period in light of the threats issued by several leaders.
The deployment of battleships in these distant areas from Yemen indicates the failure of the occupation and its allies to secure the passage of ships and that the mission is only aimed at attempting to intercept Yemeni attacks early, far from the occupied territories in Palestine.
