More than 30 Palestinians, including 13 children, killed in Jabalia

33Palestinians, including 13 children, were killed on Sunday, while a number of others are still missing, in an Israeli army raid on the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa, citing local sources, reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a house crowded with residents and displaced people in the Jabalya area.

She added that the shelling led to the complete destruction of the house, and 33 people, including 13 children, were recovered, in addition to a large number of wounded, who were transferred to the Baptist Hospital, while a number of missing people are still under the rubble of the destroyed house.

The targeted house was three-storey and filled with displaced people fleeing Jabalia camp, and neighbors of the house speak of 70 people who were inside.

A spokesman for Gaza’s civil defence said the Israeli army was preventing their crews from treating the victims.
