Israeli forces pushed tanks to the western side of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip on Monday in a new incursion into the central enclave, and Palestinian medics said Israeli military strikes had killed at least 30 people since Sunday evening.
Residents said Israeli tanks opened fire during the sudden incursion into Nuseirat, one of eight long-standing refugee camps in the Gaza Strip, causing panic among residents and displaced families.
Tens of thousands of Palestinian residents have been ordered to be evicted, stoking fears that they will never be allowed to return.
