The Gaza Strip, particularly the northern part of the Gaza Strip, continues to suffer from daily massacres, siege and starvation as a result of the barbaric Israeli aggression.

UNRWA Commissioner Philippe Lazzarini said that “aid is entering the Gaza Strip with an average of just over 30 trucks per day, representing only about 6 percent of the daily needs of Palestinians in the Strip.”

Commenting on the Israeli army’s deliberate prevention of aid and food from entering the Strip, Lazzarini added that Israel has used hunger as a weapon, depriving people in Gaza of the basics including food to survive.

Mahmoud Basal, spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza, announced that dozens of families died of hunger in northern Gaza.

Basal said: “The occupation deliberately demolishes homes on their residents and prevents us from reaching the victims to save them in the northern Gaza Strip.”
