The US commenced desperate attempts yesterday to remain in the Yemeni scene following a broad attack on its battleships in the two seas.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
In the past hours, the US Central Command reposted a new statement about the details of the confrontations witnessed in Yemen over the last 72 hours.
The US command endeavored to showcase its capabilities in countering what it described as an air attack using drones, winged, and ballistic missiles.
The statement tried to confine the confrontation on two battleships in the Red Sea, disregarding the targeting of the aircraft carrier “Lincoln” in the Arabian Sea.
A notable aspect of the new American statement was the inclusion of missiles larger than those previously announced by the Pentagon.
The statement was reposted on the Central Command’s page after two days of confrontations lasting approximately 8 hours, seen by experts as an attempt to remain in the Yemeni scene as its presence gradually fades.
Since the attack on American battleships in the Arabian and Red Seas, America has not launched any raids or missile strikes on Yemen, affirming the Yemeni narrative of preemptively thwarting an aggression the US forces were preparing to execute.
US raids escalated significantly in the days leading up to the attack on the aircraft carrier and its counterparts, as American planes launched from the Lincoln continued to bomb Yemen on a daily basis.
The halt in raids indicates logistical difficulties facing US forces, which vowed to respond to Yemen but failed to carry it out.
Since the commencement of its aggression on Yemen in January, US forces have been suffering, as they have failed to secure their ships and battleships over approximately 9 months of airstrikes and bombardments.
