Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
A special UN committee affirmed yesterday that the Israeli war methods against the Gaza Strip “align with characteristics of genocide,” indicating that “Israel” uses “starvation as a weapon of war.”
The UN committee investigating Israeli practices clarified that the war has resulted in “mass civilian casualties” and imposed “life-threatening conditions on Palestinians,” stressing that these practices are carried out systematically.
For its part, the organization “Human Rights Watch” previously stated that there is strong evidence suggesting that “Israel” has committed acts of forced displacement in Gaza, considering these actions may amount to “war crimes.”
The organization called on the International Criminal Court to investigate crimes related to forced displacement in the Strip, noting that “Israel’s claims regarding legal displacement in Gaza are largely false.”
In this context, a report from the Palestinian government’s media office indicated that northern Gaza is witnessing “ethnic cleansing, holocaust and genocide” in the largest Israeli American occupation plan aimed at displacing Palestinians, describing the situation in the region as “the most dangerous in the 21st century.”
These statements come as “Israel” continues its military assault on the Gaza Strip, which increases international concerns about the escalation humanitarian violations and massacres committed against Palestinian civilians in the Strip.
