Living conditions are becoming more dangerous in the Gaza Strip, with the announcement of the suspension of basic rescue services, and others related to the provision of cleaning and water services, due to the tightening of the siege measures by the occupation and preventing the entry of fuel.
The Civil Defense announced that all fire, rescue and ambulance vehicles had stopped working in Gaza City.
He attributed the reason to the continued refusal of the Israeli occupation to provide the diesel necessary to operate it.
“Therefore, our teams will not be able to respond to the calls of citizens, until the Israeli occupation allows humanitarian organizations to bring in the necessary quantities of diesel,” he said in a press statement.
At the same time, he warned against the continued refusal to enter and provide the Civil Defense with the quantities of diesel necessary to operate rescue and fire vehicles, and said that it is tantamount to “sentencing death and death to citizens, whose homes are bombed by the Israeli occupation and exposed to fires.”
This puts citizens at great risk, he said, in light of the increase in Israeli shelling of homes and residential properties.
He warned against the suspension of services, without international or Arab relief intervention to protect the defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
