Euro-Med Monitor warns of the situation of children and women in Gaza

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitoring Center (Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitoring Center) warned of the situation of children and women in Gaza with the onset of winter and the suffering they suffer from a shortage of blankets and clothes that protect against the winter cold.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitoring Center said in a statement that Israeli officials have been preventing blankets, clothes and shoes from entering Gaza since last year in light of the winter cold wave.

The statement added that the second winter since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza came amid a severe shortage of clothes and shoes.

The statement pointed out that the total amount of goods entering Gaza does not exceed 6%, most of which are foodstuffs.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza, including children, women and the elderly, do not have enough clothes to protect them from the cold.
