The director general of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir al-Barsh, said on Friday that the Israeli occupation army is using weapons “whose nature is unknown” in the northern Gaza Strip that lead to the evaporation of bodies.
He added – in an interview with Al Jazeera – that the ministry is not aware of the exact massacres committed by the occupation in the north because it prevents its employees and officials from obtaining information.
In turn, the spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza considered what is happening in the northern Gaza Strip “organized genocide and ethnic cleansing,” pointing out that the occupation prevented the work of the Civil Defense in the north makes it unable to respond to appeals coming from there.
He pointed out – in a previous interview with Al Jazeera Today – that the Civil Defense counted about 10,000 injured in the northern Gaza Strip during the last 50 days, and about 60,000 people without food or drink.
“We don’t know much about what is happening in northern Gaza because of the Israeli blockade,” he said, adding that entire Palestinian families were exterminated there and nothing is known about them.
