The Israeli occupation continued to storm several cities and towns in the West Bank on Monday, and worked to block roads by erecting military checkpoints, and conducting a campaign of raids and arrests of citizens.
Local sources said that the Israeli occupation forces closed a military checkpoint in Bethlehem governorate, in conjunction with the continuation of raids and incursions into several areas in Ramallah.
The Israeli occupation forces closed the “container” military checkpoint, northeast of Bethlehem, which connects the south and center of the West Bank, and fired stun grenades at citizens’ vehicles, which led to the accumulation of vehicles for long distances and impeded the return of citizens to their homes.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces continued raids in the towns and villages of Ramallah, and the Israeli army stormed the town of Turmus’ayya, east of the city.
