The Palestine Center for Prisoner Studies (RIGHTS) revealed that the Israeli occupation is still detaining more than two thousand prisoners from the Gaza Strip who were arrested during the ongoing war of extermination on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

He explained in a statement that the crimes of the Israeli occupation army in the Gaza Strip did not stop at ethnic cleansing, systematic killing of tens of thousands and the destruction of all aspects of life in the Strip, but the occupation practiced the crime of mass arrest of thousands of people from the Gaza Strip and field execution of hundreds of them in cold blood.

He added that one of these incidents was the recent execution of 3 prisoners in the northern Gaza Strip after deluding them of release after weeks of arrest and interrogation in the Sudanese area northwest of Gaza, and when they walked west for several meters to search for a safe area, the occupation shot them in a clear execution crime.

PCHR said that “arrests reached more than 8,000 cases from all cities and towns of the Gaza Strip from north to south, after raiding homes and storming shelters in schools and hospitals, the latest of which was the arrest of about a thousand citizens during the re-invasion of northern Gaza, especially the camp and the city of Jabalya.”
